National art competition for primary school students
We invite primary school students from across Poland to participate in the national art competition “Art for Nature.”
The competition was designed as an artistic and educational activity in which the process of creation is as important as the final result. We believe that works of art can be created from seemingly unnecessary materials, and that action-based education develops children’s creativity, responsibility, and a sense of agency and community.
Theme of the competition
The theme of the competition is “Art for Nature.”
Artists should address:
- environmental protection,
- the beauty of nature,
- the relationship between humans and nature in the world around children.
The aim of the competition is to create an original and inspiring artwork using collage techniques and handmade recycled paper, relating to the themes of ecology and environmental protection.
Art technique
Part of the work must be made of handmade paper, prepared independently, e.g. based on the instructions available on the website:

W pracy można wykorzystać także inne materiały, takie jak:
- papier z recyklingu (np. stare kartony, papierowe torby, gazety, fragmenty zniszczonych książek),
- naturalne elementy roślinne (np. suszone liście, trawy lub kwiaty), pod warunkiem ich trwałego i bezpiecznego zamocowania,
- elementy dorysowane lub domalowane.
Work format
- Competition entries must not exceed A3 format.
- The design can be any shape (e.g., rectangular, square, or irregular).
Rules of participation
- Only those who meet the requirements set forth in the Competition Rules are eligible to participate in the competition.
- Each participant may submit one entry.

Termin nadsyłania prac:
do 30 kwietnia 2026 r. (liczy się data stempla pocztowego).
Awards
Winners will receive prizes and free participation in papermaking and marbling workshops at Galeria Papierówka.
Prizes will be awarded in two age categories:
Grades 1–4
- 1st place
- 2nd place
- 3rd place
- two honorable mentions
Grades 5–8
- 1st place
- 2nd place
- 3rd place
- two honorable mentions
